About Georgia

Georgia is mostly self-taught, but has studied under Virginia Curry, Roann Elias, Charles Schaefer, Barbara Perotti, and has attended numerous workshops. Her most well-known works are Florida water birds in watercolors, but most recently is developing her on style in abstracts done in acrylics, watercolors and in oils. Georgia has exhibited at the Halifax Art Festival, Ponce Inlet Fine Artfest, Port Orange Artfest, Ormond Casements Artfest, and the Gallery of Local Art. She has won awards for her watercolors 1 st place, 3 rd , and honorable mentions. First Place and Honorable Mention in landscape oils as well. Her art has been sold locally and is all over from the US , to the Czech Republic, Germany and Sweden. She has been published in the Destination Flagler and FCAL’s Celebration of Art, as well as the Halifax Magazine. She is a member of the Art League of Daytona Beach, Flagler County Art League and the Florida Women’s Art Association. She taught watercolors for years.
